If a candidate does not show up for an exam, the grade X – Did Not Attend will be entered.

However, if the student submits a valid medical certificate for the period of the exam, the grade X will later be replaced by the grade Q. (The certificates are processed by authorised persons.)

At every point where the grade is displayed, the grade Q – Withdrawn for Approved Reasons can be seen from the time the medical certificate is approved.
