Certain groups of students need to register for courses by way of a free registration.

This may apply to the following groups:

• Erasmus students
• Foreign language assistants
• Students of partner universities
• PhD students

In order to find out if this applies to you, open the My Degree Programme application. If a curriculum tree is displayed in the view My Degree Programme, you cannot register for courses outside the module structure of that curriculum tree. You must register for courses using the My Degree Programme application. Click here for detailed instructions.

If no curriculum tree is displayed, follow the instructions for a free registration.

Please note: “Free registration” refers to a course registration via the offering organisation (in contrast to the registration via the curriculum tree). For the majority of short-term students, registration via the curriculum tree in My Degree Programme is the norm.
